Button Blocker® to Exhibit at the 2016 CALA/ISLE Conference and Trade Show
CALA, or the Connecticut Assisted Living Association, is the official trade association for the Assisted Living industry in Connecticut. Since 1995, their mission has been to promote the growth of Assisted Living in Connecticut while holding their members’ to the highest ethical standards. This year, leaders in the Assisted Living Industry, including Executives, Directors, and Partners will be in attendance. During this daylong event, they will share and explore new ideas on how to enhance the rapidly changing landscape of Assisted Living. Various companies will be exhibiting their products and services throughout the day, including Button Blocker® at booth #11.
Button Blocker® is the solution to today’s complex TV remote controls. With more than 50 buttons, many seniors find themselves pressing the wrong buttons. This becomes even more stressful when they have to ask someone for help, or simply walk away. Button Blocker® is a cover that fits onto the remote control, and covers all but the most essential buttons. Once applied, it becomes impossible to press any of the wrong buttons, eliminating the need to ask someone to fix the TV.
“The CALA Conference is an opportunity to reach out to administrators and caregivers who witness this problem first hand. By giving their patients a Button Blocker®, they will now be able to focus on more important tasks” said Jack McDaniel. “Since ten thousand people turn 65 each day, the demand for more senior friendly products will only grow.”
Button Blocker, LLC is a single product startup company based out of West Boylston, Massachusetts. The company is responsible for designing, producing, and selling the product. Currently, Button Blocker® is available for Comcast Xfinity, DirecTV, and Charter remote controls, with other models to follow.
Button Blocker® will be offering visitors free samples for evaluation at their booth throughout the day.
